As this is my first blog entry, I allow myself to appreciate a person that hasn't only performed outstandingly in Week 48, but also in the 10 weeks before. Mr. Drew Brees ladies and gentleman, Quarter Back of the New Orleans Saints. (http://www.nfl.com/players/drewbrees/profile?id=BRE229498)
The New Orleans Saints have never played in the Super Bowl and won their last NFC Champions Ship Game in 2006. A 7-9 in 2008 and a 8-8 season followed. But this year he led the Saints to a undefeated 11-0 so far.
Last weeks match was against the New England Patriots (7-3 before the Saints game), with big names like Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Wes Welker... And Brees passed for 5 Touchdowns, completed 371 yards in 18 of 23 attempted passes.
So far the 30 year old QB from Austin, Texas passed for 3,117 yards and 27 TD's.
